1. Objective
This policy outlines the commitment of Skill Express Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SELSPL) to uphold impartiality and confidentiality in all inspection and related activities in compliance with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and NABCB guidelines.
2. Impartiality Policy
2.1 Commitment to Impartiality
- Top Management and all employees of SELSPL are committed to acting impartially in carrying out inspection activities and managing any conflict of interest to ensure the objectivity and credibility of its services.
2.2 Organizational Structure
- SELSPL has an organizational structure that ensures freedom from undue internal and external pressures that may influence inspection outcomes.
2.3 Identification & Management of Risks
- All risks to impartiality are identified through a risk analysis process, recorded, and reviewed by the Impartiality Committee.
- The Impartiality Committee operates independently and includes external representation.
2.4 Personnel Responsibilities
- All staff, inspectors, and contracted personnel are required to declare any potential conflict of interest as and when they encounter any such situation.
- Personnel involved in inspection do not engage in any consulting, training, or advisory roles with clients on the same subject.
2.5 Independence from Commercial Interests
- SELSPL does not allow commercial, financial, or any other pressure to compromise impartiality.
- Marketing and operational activities are clearly segregated.
3. Confidentiality Policy
3.1 Commitment to Confidentiality
- SELSPL guarantees the confidentiality of information obtained during the course of inspection activities.
- All client information is treated as proprietary and protected from unauthorized disclosure.
3.2 Legal and Regulatory Disclosure
- Disclosure of information is only made:
- With written client consent, or
- As required by applicable law or accreditation/regulatory authority.
3.3 Staff Obligations
- All employees and external personnel sign confidentiality agreements at the time of engagement.
- Training and regular communication ensure awareness of confidentiality responsibilities.
3.4 Data Security
- SELSPL maintains a secure environment for both digital and physical records.
- Access is restricted based on roles and governed by the document control procedure.
4. Implementation and Review
- This policy is communicated across the organization and forms part of onboarding and regular training.
- The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring adherence to this policy.
- Non-compliance or breach of this policy is treated as a serious offense and may lead to disciplinary action.
- The policy is reviewed annually or as required based on changes in operations or NABCB/ISO criteria.
